  When the Cricut Design Space tells you the device cannot find the cut sensor marks. It means the image or photos you are trying to cut is set to print and then cut. The device is searching for the print and then cut sensor marks that will give permission to cut the image correctly. If you did not want to print and then cut, and would rather cut only, you can simply change your image from a print line type to a Cut line type. Carefully follow all the instructions found here to change the image line type. Note:  Cut images or photos do not keep any inner colors or patterns, so if you require to keep inner cut routes. You have to make sure to delete the correct sections of the image at the time of the cleanup step to make the desired to cut off your image.
